The department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery has made a beginning in collaboration with the department of General Surgery from the time of inception of the hospital. It has been provided with a daily running O.P.D. exclusive operation theater, armed with competent anaesthesiologists, state of the art operating microscope, micro surgical instruments and well trained, experienced Plastic Surgery staff. Intensive Care Unit and inpatient wards catering to all the strata of the society. Accident and Emergency Care Unit (Casualty) is handling all the Plastic & Reconstructive Emergencies backed by round the clock C.T. and M.R.I Scan facilities from the department of radiology. Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is willing to expand and want to explore in Robotic Surgery, Hand transplant unit, Lymphatic surgery etc.The department of Plastic surgery was created and started functioning independently from 01st Sep 2012 onwards.

- Friday (Dr. Anil R) – Liposuction Clinic – 2:00PM to 5:00PM
- Saturday (Dr. Ravi S Nemagouda) – Burn Clinic – 2:00PM to 5:00PM

Hand injuries, Facial injuries, Congenital anomalies, Cosmetic surgery patients, Lower limb trauma, vascular malformations, Skin cancers etc.
Emergency:
Amputation of fingers, hand, toes & foot, Acute burns, Revascularisation etc.
Diagnostic Services:
Incision / Excision biopsy of tumour
Intensive Care Unit:
Polytrauma, Burns, Vascular injuries etc.
High Dependency Unit:
High velocity trauma, cancer reconstruction, Liposuction, Breast reconstruction, Post burn sequela, Paediatric trauma etc.

Achievements:
- Department has successfully conducted state plastic surgery conference KAPRASCON 2022 Dr. Niranjan Kumar was organising chairman and Dr. Avinash Prabhu was organising secretory for the conference
- CME in collaboration with CFU “Oral Squamous cell carcinoma” on 10th April 2015 Stepwise Cadaver Neck Dissection and Flap raising course on 8th & 9th March 2018
