Whole day CME was conducted from 8.30AM to 6.00PM with more than 230 registrations (Including PG- 115 from medical colleges, North Karnataka) at Ishaavaasyam, SDMCMS&H. CME was Inaugurated by Dr. Niranjan Kumar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SDM University, Dharwad, Smt. Padmalatha Niranjan, Member, Board of Governors, SDM University Dharwad, Mr. Saket Shetty, Director of Administration, SDM University Dharwad, Dr. Kiran Hegde, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Makhdoom Killedar, Dy. Medical Superintendent & Dr. Rathnamala M Desai, Principal SDM College of Medical Sciences & Hospital.

Scientific program covered interesting and thought-provoking topics (13 Topics) presented by eminent faculty from all over India. Quiz competition conducted for Post Graduates from various Medical College (such as KIMS, JJMMC, JJNMC, BIMS, SNMC & SDM) comprising of 22 Teams (each team consists of 3 participant) in preliminary round and we have selected 5 teams who scored higher in preliminary round. Final round quiz was conducted by Dr Vishal Shanbhag Intensivist from MAHE, three teams were identified as prize winners. Team EMpower (SDM) First Prize, Team Chilakala (JJMMC Davenegere) – Second, Team Saga (KIMS Hubballi)- Third Prize.

Poster presentation for students of SDMCMS&H was also organized
as part of the whole day CME. Eighteen posters were presented by Students covering interesting cases treated in Critical Care ICU. Dr Bhuvana Krishna (Bangalore), Dr Vijaya Patil (Mumbai), Dr Ajith Kumar (Bangalore) were judges to the poster presentation. Dr Harshith Goel, Dr Yeshashwini, Dr Kiran Kumar won the prizes first, second, third respectively.

Prizes were distributed for winners of Quiz competition and Poster presentation.
