The MS degree is awarded in various surgical specialties. Surgeons can specialize in areas such as General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, and more. The choice of specialization depends on the surgeon's interests and career goals.
The curriculum of the MS program includes advanced coursework, clinical training, and research. It is designed to deepen the surgeon's knowledge and skills in their chosen specialty. The program often includes rotations in different surgical departments, hands-on surgical experience, and exposure to advanced surgical techniques.
Clinical training is a significant part of the MS program. Surgeons-in-training work under the supervision of experienced surgeons, gaining practical experience in surgical procedures, patient care, and decision-making in a clinical setting.
