45-year-old gentleman with alleged history of assault to left hand leading to complete amputation of left hand at the level of wrist.

Emergency surgery performed to save the severed hand.  Fractured bones were aligned in anatomical position and fixed accordingly, 20 tendons, 3 nerves, 2 arteries and 3 veins were repaired. The surgery went on for 5 hrs and it was a worth a while after the hand turned pink.

Patient is doing good now and back to work.
