Disease Profile Treated:  All types of emergencies are evaluated, stabilized and then referred to the department of Critical Care, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pulmonology, General Medicine, Nephrology, Hematology, Rheumatology etc.

Surgical Emergencies : Head Injury, Road Traffic Accidents with Polytrauma, Blunt Thoracic Injury, Abdominal Injuries, Various Types of Fracture Bones, Upper/Lower GI Bleed, Intestinal Obstruction, Pancreatitis, Intestinal Perforation, Peritonitis, Cellulitis , Gangrene, Fractures, Joint Dislocation etc.

Medical Emergencies : All Patients Arriving with Breathlessness, Chest Pain, Altered Sensorium, Convulsions, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Pyelonephritis, Gastroenteritis, Neuroinfection, Acute Febrile Illness, Poisoning, Snake Bite, Scorpion Sting, Bee Sting, Drug Reaction, Anaphylaxis etc. 

Pediatric Emergencies : Febrile Seizures, Hypoglycaemia, Status Asthmaticus, Epilepsy, Shock, Croup, Respiratory Distress, Paediatric Trauma etc.      

Obstetric: Ectopic Pregnancy, Postpartum Haemorrhage, Pre-eclampsia & Eclampsia etc.

Monday to Saturday – 24 Hrs
Sundays & Public Holidays – 24 Hrs
Emergency – 24*7
Any given time two or more emergency consultants are available on the floor

Outpatient Services

General OPD: Timings & Schedule: Emergency Medical and Poly Trauma care available 24 x 7

Inpatient Services : Emergency
    • Endotracheal intubation for patients in respiratory distress.
    • Oxygen supplementation, High flow nasal cannulation, 
    • Non invasive and mechanical ventilation for needy patients.
    • Peripheral and central vein catheterisation for patients coming in shock who need IV fluids and inotropes.
    • Haemodialysis catheterisation for patients who need dialysis.
    • Transcutaneous and transvenous cardiac pacing for patients coming with decreased heart rate.
    • Splinting and reduction of fracture and joint reduction.
    • Procedural sedation for minor surgical procedurs.
    • Suturing and dressing of minor wounds.
    • Intercoastal drainage for patients coming with pneumothorax and respiratory distress.
    • Thrombolysis for patients of heart attack and paralysis who come within the window period.

  • Conducting regular BLS courses to Medical students, Physiotherapy students, Nurses and Ambulance drivers for the past 3 years.
  • Conducted monthly Health checkup camp.
