Human limb is one of nature's most intricately designed Mechanisms. Its loss or damage not only Causes disabilities but also leads to social, psychological and economic problems. This affects the individual, his family, the society, and the Country as a whole to some extent. This can be overcome to some extent by provision of Prosthesis (Artificial limb) or a suitable Orthosis. (appliance)

Our ALC extends services for locomotor disabilities. The State of the Art Centre is well equipped with High Tech machinery to provide Various types of Artificial limbs and appliances to the needs of economically backward people . It can also provide Hi-Tech Artificial limbs to match the international standards including polyCarbonate, glass fiber and Carbon fiber Technology with endo Skeletal System. The Carbon fiber and PP/PE Technology makes the artificial limbs and orthotic appliances light weight hence comfortable and more acceptable.
The aim of the Artificial Limb Center is not only to provide the Artificial limbs and Orthotic devices but also to train the disabled in using the aids provided. So that he/she becomes as near normal as possible in appearance and function and becomes a useful member of society.
- We provide Prosthetic Service (Artificial limbs) to the patients with any level of Amputation.
- Also we deal with low-cost and Advanced prosthetic systems ( Artificial limbs) .
- Provides orthotic services to all types of ortho, Neuro and congenital disorders.
- Provides special care for diabetic feet.
- We have a high tech diabetic foot wear designed unit with facilities of plastazote insole making unit.
- We have facilities for post –op & pre up care.
- We also have facilities for cosmetic restoration of figures and Toes.
- We have a pressure garments manufacturing unit.
- We give solutions to patients with keloid, hypertrophic scars and burn cases.
- Our department is equipped with high-Tech moldings units for P.P Socket molding and Orthotic shell molding.
- We have comfortable gait training areas.
- Our ALC is Technically & Clinically Administered by highly qualified and well experienced prosthetic & orthotic consultants and well trained Technicians.
