Public Awareness Program regarding Recognition of Cardiac Arrest, Heart & Brain Stroke with appropriate action and Road Traffic Accident-Street Play was held at KCD Ground (Dharwad). Awareness regarding Recognition of cardiac arrest was conducted by Dr Rakesh P S, Dr Suraj Horakeri, and Mr. Mruthyunjay Salimath, which was followed by creating awareness on Heart and Brain stroke conducted by Dr Akash Reddy and Mr. Mruthyunjay Salimath. Road traffic accident- street play was beautifully enacted by our nursing students. Post street play there was Question- Answer session between public and doctors, program was actively attended by Faculty, Nursing Staff, Respiratory Therapist, Non-Teaching staff of SDM & General Public. Public awareness program was followed by Walk for cause from KCD Circle to DHO Office, Dharwad. For this event, 225 registrations have been received. Registration was free; T Shirts and Caps were distributed to all the participants including General Public.
